The Future.
The aim of The Project is to provide a database and series of sourcebooks of biographical information on circus people which will serve as a starting point for all those researching British circus history.
The Future will see the growth of systematically-stored and easily-accessible information produced by collaboration between those who Contribute. A team of contributors will be built-up combining the different interests of social historians, family historians, genealogists and those who simply love and enjoy the circus and are interested in its performers.
At some stage in the future, the DBCB should become accessible on-line over the Internet. The technical details of such access and the issue of intellectual property, remain to be worked out. No collection of information is worthwhile without its eventual Publication.
